Extended flight authorization for the FLY-R R2-150
FLY-R is pleased to report that its R2-150 Flight Authorization by the French DGAC / DSAC has been extended both in time, by one year, and in operational conditions, extended range with capability of BVLOS operation. This is the result of the successful submission by FLY-R of a new dossier including a full SORA analysis, not limited to a pre-defined scenario. FLY-R team works in close relation with DSAC to satisfy the requirements imposed by the DGAC and EASA regulations.

FLY-R and MBDA present the RAIJIN drone at UMEX 2024
FLY-R was participating in UMEX 2024 (Abu Dhabi) from 23rd to 25th January.
A half scale mockup of its RAIJIN Loitering Munition was on display on the stand of the company MBDA.
MBDA and FLY-R are cooperating on the export opportunities of the RAIJIN.
This first international display of the RAIJIN did attract a lot of interest from representatives of Land, Naval and Air Forces from various countries. FLY-R is proud to cooperate with MBDA.

FLY-R and DUQUEINE Group sign a cooperation Agreement
During the Paris Air Show 2023, FLY-R and Duqueine Group have entered a Cooperation Agreement formalizing their partnership for the manufacturing of FLY-R drones and associated systems by Duqueine Group.
About Duqueine Group:
Duqueine Group is specialized in the design and manufacturing of high performance composite parts and sub-assemblies in the Aeronautic, Industrial and Sports & Leisure sectors.
Created in 1982 by Gilles Duqueine founder and president of the Group, the company is made up of 800 workforce and 5 sites spread over the globe.

GLOBAL COMPONENT ASIA and FLY-R enter a partnership agreement during LIMA 2023
A new partnership to develop advanced UAV solutions for the aerospace and defence markets in Malaysia and beyond has been announced by Global Component Asia and FLY-R. The two companies signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2023 on 24 May 2023.
The MOU aims to enhance the capabilities of both companies in the Malaysian and regional markets by collaborating on joint marketing efforts, joint development of a special purpose UAV for the Malaysian and regional markets, training for application and support of UAVs, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul of equipment. The partnership will also leverage the expertise and innovation of both companies to create value-added solutions for their customers.
Dato’ Nonee Ashirin Dato’ Mohd Radzi, Chairman of Global Component Asia, and Remi Albert, Co-Founder of FLY-R SAS signed this agreement during a ceremony held in the presence of Y. Bhg. Dato’ Sri Suriani binti Dato’ Ahmad, Secretary General of Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC).

FLY-R is awarded the First Prize for Innovation during SOFINS 2023
FLY-R is proud and honoured to be awarded the SOFLAB Innovation First Prize at the end of SOFINS 2023 held from 28 to 30 March 2023 in Bordeaux, France.
Among 178 high-tech companies in the field of defense, FLY-R innovations and their usage were recognized by an independent jury composed of major actors of the defense environment, in the industrial, scientific and operational fields.
The first prize for innovation was handed to us during the 10th anniversary Gala of SOFINS by Mrs. Florence PARLY, former French Minister of Defense.
We thank the Cercle de l’Arbalète for giving us the opportunity to be present at SOFINS 2023, the SOFINS 2023 organizing committee for a show of great professionalism and SOFLAB for supporting us in the preparation and throughout the show.

World premiere of RAIJIN
FLY-R is pleased to announce the arrival of a new member in its product family.
R2-120 RAIJIN is a drone designed for the role of loitering munition. The efficiency of the rhomboid wing combined with its automatic deployment when exiting the launch tube makes RAIJIN a system offering a wide range of speeds and a great autonomy, with an excellent accuracy of attack on target. All this for a controlled deployment and operation cost.

The rhomboid wing automatic flight deployment system is an international patent of FLY-R.

FLY-R will expose at SOFINS 2023
FLY-R will be exposing at SOFINS 2023 from 28 to 30 March. SOFINS is an international exhibition dedicated to Special Forces and participation, as well as visits, are on invitation only. During SOFINS 2023, more than 40 official foreign delegations are expected.
The stand number of FLY-R is: E5, in the "SOFLAB" area dedicated to innovative companies.

FLY-R R2-150 Flight Autorisation is renewed by DGAC
After submission of our dossier via METEOR and several iterations, on February 23 FLY-R received from DGAC / DSAC the renewal of the operating authorization of the R2-150 according to the PDRA-G02 scenario. This new flight authorization is valid for 1 year and will therefore allow us to complete our flight program scheduled for 2023.

The R2-150 achieves an extensive flight campaign
From 13 to 18 February, an intensive campaign of R2-150 flights took place on the FLY-R field in St Paul in Reunion Island. We are particularly pleased with the reliability and operational readiness of the R2-150. We made 10 consecutive flights of the same aircraft over a period of 4 days, without any special maintenance operations.
