FLY-R is developing six fully autonomous rhomboidal wing aircraft systems for specific missions and use cases.
They are designed for civilian and military applications such as coastal and maritime surveillance.
The R2-150 and R2-240 with wingspan of 1.5 and 2.4 m and electric and hybrid engines are designed for surveillance missions, particularly coastal and maritime thanks to a unique launch and recovery system allowing their operation from a ship in navigation.
The R2-120 RAIJIN with a wingspan of 1.2 m and an electric motor is designed as a loitering munition that can also be deployed in a swarm. In addition, its wing automatically unfolding at the exit of its launch tube allows its operation form an unprepared environment and without dedicated logistics.
The 2.4 m wingspan R2-HSTD is powered by a turbine. This High Speed Target Drone, with a top speed of Mach 0.65, is an efficient and cost-effective means of training for air defense and air combat.
The R2-400 and R2-600 with 4.0 and 6.0 m wingspans and hybrid propulsion systems are effective next-generation solutions to fulfill « MALE » (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) missions.
