R2-150
UAS for Surveillance, Observation & Reconnaissance
The R2-150 aircraft is specially designed for coastal and maritime surveillance applications.
The rhomboid wing gives this small aircraft great flexibility and performances equivalent to that of larger and heavier aircraft for an identical mission. This translates into reduced logistics and operating costs.
An integrated automatic system
The mission is carried out day and night by the ground station operators, who have received minimum training to send high-level commands to the aircraft. This is possible thanks to the automatic management of the flight plan and the automatic tracking of objects detected by the on-board camera.
Unique launch and recovery systems
The vacuum launcher and recovery system allow automatic launches and landings without the need for a prepared terrain.
The compactness of these systems and their all-weather use also allow the R2-150 to be deployed on board ships in navigation.
Characteristics
No pilot in the loop
Automatic take off and landing / recovery
Flies a pre-programmed pattern. Pattern can be modified in real time from the GCS using operator basic commands
Bi-directional data link with real time video image transmission from aircraft to GCS
Transponder system
Various payload configurations can be done within the physical and functional constraints of the aircraft
Mission sensor (standard): night and day camera
